Betsy McCall 5.5" Cut Paper Doll w/Two Cut-Out Dresses c. 1970

Description

This vintage paper doll is Betsy McCall from an issue of McCall's magazine sometime during the 1970's.  Though the particular magazine is unclear, the 5.5" doll and her two outfits are very nicely cut out and have not been used otherwise.  The tabs on the dresses have never been folded down.  There is a crease across the doll and clothes but it has not compromised the quality of the items.  It is recommended that the items be attached to lightweight cardboard to preserve their integrity in play use.  Cute young Betsy has a gift in her arms, as does one outfit, and the second outfit is holding a doll, so it is likely this paper doll came in a December or holiday issue.  Included in this sale is a COPY of a vintage article about the rise of Betsy's fame during the 1950's.  She is still delighting her fans today!
