    Early American Figural Tableware by William R. Heacock with Hazel Rawls - This is an excellent article by one of the foremost authorities on American figural tableware. Broad in scope the article divides the field into categories which include Wild animals from Africa and the Artic, Wild Animals from America, Domestic Animals, Famyard Friends and Fowl, Lady Liberty and her Hand, Lovely Ladies of Legend, The Wild West, and so forth. Heacock expands on a few patterns in each category.
