    Description

Lavishly illustrated in color and black-and-white, this scarce out-of-print book is an in-depth pictorial guide to Moser glass supplemented by rich narrative which covers the history and production of this Bohemian art glass firm.
MOSER ARTISTIC GLASS – Edition Two
by Gary D. Baldwin, The Glass Press/Antique Publications, 1997.  This book is a revised and updated version of
    Moser—Artistry in Glass
    by the same author.
The goals of the author were to  “present a new and expanded selection of Moser glassware, consider probable commercial ties which existed between Moser and other glasshouses, provide illustrations of representative Moser look-alike glassware which was produced by rival firms and finally, to include a chapter dealing with the historical and artistic factors which have influenced Moser production after World War II..”  Drawn from many private collections, these objects are presented primarily in gorgeous color photos with some black and white. Anyone who collects or studies Bohemian glass in general or Moser glass in particular will find this volume an essential identification and appreciation guide.
