    Description

    This vintage original Betsy McCall paper doll page is entitled, "Betsy McCall Finds a Place in the Woods."  It's exciting to receive brand new Girl Scout uniforms for the little brunette character created in the early 1950's for McCall's women's magazine.  Published in September, 1973, this 7.5" x 11" page is in excellent uncut condition with smoothly cut edges.  An illustrated story of her excursion into the woods is found on top and the 5.5" Betsy paper doll is on the bottom with two additional outfits as well.  Also included in this sale is a COPY of a vintage article on Betsy's rise to fame during the 1950's.  Great for framing, a collectors' treasure!
